Digesting Corona – and becoming prepared!

by Kora Klapp, June 16, 2020

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

The World Health Organization

This definition is, of course, purely subjective and dependent on the frame or comparison each person has to perceive themselves as healthy or not. However, the word “complete” seems to present health as an ideal that in this world can hardly be reached.

Thus, health according to the WHO is not the natural state for living beings, but something that can only be achieved with social consent and support. Yes, we humans are hard-wired for conformism, as Solomon Asch could show in his social experiment [1]. At least in “our own group”…

Interestingly, social cohesion grows when we have a common enemy. So from WHO’s perspective, we’ll all fight together against what is presented as disease. This has strange implications when it comes to germs.

The Damocles Mindset

The threat with an “infectious disease” is independent whether the infected person has any symptoms or not. If they’re infected, they’re potentially infective to others.

This thought construct leads to dramatic and cruel consequences: healthy people can be labeled as potential threats to their environment, even to their nearest. This calls for social control, monitoring by the state, and mandatory medical pre- and intervention: a tyrannical principle fed by our fear.

Many people have been trained to perceive any death as utter evil, instead of accepting it as naturally belonging to the circle of life. What we often really fear however is suffering, debility and the lack of dignity. However prolonging life by all medical means often brings just this; dependence on medication and technical devices for surveillance of our body functions and thereby suffering the lack of dignity.
I quote a lung doctor’s wisdom:

“Previously, lung inflammation used to be called ‘the old people’s friend’. Now with Corona, we send elderly from palliative care into ICU”

Influenza is a typical disease that is dangerous mainly for elderly and weak people – that’s why preventive vaccination is recommended especially for those, although the efficacy can be low depending on the mutation of the viruses.

Infectious Disease as a Business Model?*

*paragraph extracted from Prof Franz Ruppert “Der Wahnsinn des Geschäftsmodells Infektionskrankheiten[2]

On 11 March 2019 this News [3] were released:

“The threat of pandemic influenza is ever-present.” said WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. “The on-going risk of a new influenza virus transmitting from animals to humans and potentially causing a pandemic is real. The question is not if we will have another pandemic, but when. We must be vigilant and prepared – the cost of a major influenza outbreak will far outweigh the price of prevention.”

The new strategy is the most comprehensive and far-reaching that WHO has ever developed for influenza. It outlines a path to protect populations every year and helps prepare for a pandemic through strengthening routine programs. It has two overarching goals:

  1. Build stronger country capacities for disease surveillance and response, prevention and control, and preparedness. To achieve this, it calls for every country to have a tailored influenza programme that contributes to national and global preparedness and health security.
  2. Develop better tools to prevent, detect, control and treat influenza, such as more effective vaccines, antivirals and treatments, with the goal of making these accessible for all countries. [3]

The above quote seems not to be in line with the WHO’s own definition of health. It rather outlines how to use the concept of infections as a business model:

  • Customers are potentially all people on this earth. Therefore, whole nations are customers for the producers of vaccines, test kits and drugs.
  • The manufacturing companies can supply the countries for monopoly prices, while the rich countries should also subsidize vaccinations for poor countries.
  • There are also business opportunities for the IT industry (health, surveillance apps) and auxiliary equipment manufacturers (test kits, masks, protective clothing). The financial risk for damage caused by vaccinations and viral drugs is at the expense of the public purse.

The redefinition of the term “pandemic” by the WHO is helpful for the prospect.
This is what you read on Medicine Net [4]:

Pandemic: An epidemic (a sudden outbreak) that becomes very widespread and affects a whole region, a continent, or the world due to a susceptible population. By definition, a true pandemic causes a high degree of mortality (death) [4]

The mortality factor is not mentioned any longer in the WHO definition – so that an epidemic of common cold now basically can be named alongside smallpox and the plague, triggering primeval fears.

Event 201”, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY, was hosted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.[5] It modeled a fictional coronavirus pandemic.

The “Real Event” Followed Shortly…

Coronaviruses are typically seen as prompting a common cold – this one was featured as a “deadly virus”, and named SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome – Corona Virus 2) although the majority of infected show only little to mild symptoms.

Interestingly, the severity and lethality of the respiratory affliction in some cases seems to have been co-created by its therapy. Due to the presupposed danger of infection, breathing trouble initially was directly met by intensive care with intubation of the lungs, followed by destruction of lung tissue because the typical cellular damage in Covid-19 was not known yet. [6],[7],[8]

For the same reason of potential infection risk, it was not recommended to perform autopsies on the bodies of these patients, preventing breakthrough learnings at this early stage.

Learning from the Virus

Only when courageous doctors started to analyze the dead bodies did they find that the endothelial cells (the inner lining of blood vessels) were destroyed, and that blood clotting could lead to embolisms in various inner organs [9],[10],[11] . Knowing that, this risk can be minimized by medication with heparin (blood thinner) early on in the disease process.

New findings show that nephritis-like changes in the kidneys and urine are typical for dramatic courses of Covid-19 [12], and that such courses can be predicted (and prevented) by checking the urine of patients for heightened blood coagulation factors [13]

We also find that the pre-existing conditions critical for the dramatic course of disease, namely heart and circulatory diseases, obesity, diabetes and insulin resistance, are relating to the inner lining of the blood vessels. And in all these conditions, the patients show a deficiency in vitamin D – the hormone released in the skin upon sun exposure.

One function of Vit D is to downregulate inflammation. Thus, Vit D deficiency fosters the dreaded cytokine storm (an exaggerated, dramatic immune response with systemic inflammation), which in turn can lead to sepsis [14].

With old age, vitamin D levels decrease. As the body fat locks in Vit D, overweight people also get deficient more easily. But supplementation of vit D alone may not lead to satisfactory results, while sun exposure and a more natural lifestyle add several other benefits for our circulatory and immune systems:

  • The blue light in sun rays, for example, activates T-lymphocytes to move faster and communicate with other cells about damaged areas [15]
  • Nitric oxide dilates blood vessels and thus prevents embolisms, as well as having functions in modulating the microbiome. It is also made on the skin and in the sinuses of the nose. Nose breathing and exercise, sunlight and certain foods facilitate healthy nitric oxide production in our body. [16],[17]
  • Melatonin protects our health by epigenetically modulating the immune system [18]. It is produced in the pineal gland but also in the gut [19]. Thus, nurturing sleep as well as the gut microbiome are crucial for our resilience and immune responses.

META-Health and Infection

Supporting and promoting our self-regulation and resilience by natural means is a completely different approach, which doesn’t fit into the “business model” of devices, vaccines and medication. Instead, it recognizes the importance of self-responsibility for happiness and dignity.

Actually, experiences in the META-Health community confirm the efficacy of empowerment both against the fear for infection, and with the various symptoms in Covid-19.

The concerned organs are speaking of the prevalent and re-triggered conflicts a patient goes through: besides the different lung-related fears mentioned in my previous article, we often find

  • separation from one’s roots and home country can lead to more dramatic courses
  • typically, triggered conflicts relate to the “new brain” with territorial and identity issues affecting the bronchi, taste and smell, digestion, the heart or the kidneys
  • especially self-esteem and the belief in one’s ability is reduced – which can be a personal trait, or appear during longer periods with debilitating symptoms. This will affect the components of blood and lymphatic tissues

From a perspective of prevention and therapy, obviously a combination of individual lifestyle measures and mindful coaching to release trauma patterns, as well as supporting the person’s self-awareness and integrity, will be most effective in prevention, backed up with the possibilities of medical treatment.

Instead of waiting for a vaccine to feel safe and to regain our freedom to move, travel and contact, might we change our mindset?

Courage to Live

In one of my favorite kid’s books, “Ronia the Robber’s daughter” by Astrid Lindgren, the little heroine learns how to deal with danger. Instead of shunning the abyss dividing her home ground, she explores the gap carefully until she dares to jump over it! I wonder where the kids are who, like me, identified with Ronia and learned that there is no safety without feeling confident?

To enable the courageous while keeping the vulnerable protected, I am co-organizing and taking part in Immune without Fear Retreats!

Whether we believe in viruses or not, we have seen a pandemic of fears and confusion that has spread around the world. Better mindsets, better beliefs and better science can help the world to counter such pandemics now and in the future.

Demonstrations around the globe are showing the power of intention even in the face of infection. When we meet without shield, embracing the presence of microbes, of triggers and emotions and we use our tools for mind-body-social alignment and salutogenesis, we learn to create and strengthen ecological niches for health.

If this resonates with you, please feel free to support the Non Profit Project Non Profit Project Immune without Fear by getting involved and by spreading the Word, to make this idea a reality!
